This week’s messy play has all been linked to our book of the week ‘Guess how much I love you’. The children were able to explore all the different textures and smells all the different smells coming from the food we have used in the tough trays. This week’s messy play has included Ready Brek, rice, frozen yoghurt, cream, jam, cookie crumbs, rice pudding and even mint. The children would explore in the trays using their hands, mouths and some even took off their shoes and socks to feel it on their toes. We have had so much fun with all the different textures, squeezing it in our fingers and crumbling it, crushing it with our hands.
